On July 4th 2011 Derek and I celebrated our country's Independence Day with Bob and Daphne by taking in a ball game and fireworks. We cheered on the Frisco Rough Riders (our local minor league team) to a victory and "oohed & ahhed" over an incredible fireworks display after the game. At the time, we didn't know that one short year later we would be taking our son to the very same event for his first baseball game ever. Join us for a special milestone in every boy's life and America's favorite pastime, Emerson's first baseball game!
Seeing my husband so happy to share this experience with his son literally brings tears to my eyes! This is what life is all about!
I die over these cheeks!!
Look at those baby blues!
Happy boys!
7th inning NAP!
The love of my life!
Fireworks!
Emerson loved the bright fireworks and couldn't take his eyes off of them. We were concerned he wouldn't handle the loud noises, but he was such a little champ! I plan to make this our Fourth of July family tradition no matter where we are. A ballgame, fireworks, hot dogs and fun!
