Emerson's first Ranger's game was truly something we will look back on and laugh about for sure!
On Sunday night we decided to head out to Ranger stadium about an hour from home with
our friends Jackie & Kyle.
Since we didn't reserve ahead of time,
our seats were up in the nosebleeds, but we didn't mind as we were
mainly there to enjoy each others company and have a few beers!
Baby E was great through the game and so sweet with Jackie & Kyle. We made it few a few innings and then he dozed off. Emerson was sleeping peacefully when out of no where, a crack of
lightning went off so loudly the players went running off the field!
Twins centerfielder Denard Span tweeted after the game that he screamed like a little girl when the lightning struck. It was quite the "boom" and although it literally brought grown men to their knees, our little MVP kept right on snoozing!! The four of us could not believe what a trooper Emerson was with the whole thing. Needless to say we left a bit early!
