Mother's Day ReCap

Mother's day was abundantly blessed for our little family of three! I woke to a delicious breakfast made by my sweet husband, a bouquet of star gazer lilies and blue iris and Emerson did SO well in his Sunday school class while we attended worship.

I wore a mint blazer from Charlotte Russe, a black silk ruffle blouse from J. Crew and white jeans from Express. My earrings and necklace were a Christmas gift (from my favorite sister-in-law ever) and my watch is Michael Kors. Emerson's Wizard of Oz smocked long-all is Southern Sunshine Kid's purchased from Smocked Auctions (Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies, Derek dressed him in this smock as a little tribute to me on mother's day which I thought was so thoughtful and sweet!).

I had been hinting that I wanted a new diaper bag/purse for Mother's day and Derek got me a gift card to Amazon so I could pick one out that I'd be sure to love. I adore my Timi & Leslie Annette bag in pewter and knew I wanted another from the brand. I've decided on the Charlie in black and I can't wait for it to arrive!

Of course my favorite part of this mother's day was spending the whole thing with my mom.

I'm everything I am, because you loved me. You're faith and love inspire me constantly and I wouldn't be half the mother I am without your patience and guidance. I am so incredibly blessed and honored to call you my mother. Thank you... for everything.
