Home Goods

Derek and I have greatly enjoyed our North Dallas home for the past 3 years. McKinney is such a sweet little town and we just love our neighborhood. It's hard to imagine that in a few short months we will be given Derek's new project assignment which will include an inevitable move for our family. I have mixed feelings, mainly because we could potentially end up out of the country. I do however love the possible opportunity to take part in some good old fashioned "out with the old and in with the new" when it comes to our home furnishings.

LivingRoom

I love gathering inspiration for our potential new place. I'm excited about the prospects of buying a house in a city we've never lived. Meeting new people and Emerson making friends. It's all pretty exciting! I've been pinning away ideas for our future new home. From Emerson's "big boy" room to a traditional yet toddler friendly living room. Some pieces on my must have list include a mate to my currently solo Lydia chair from World Market, this incredible tufted cocktail table and a cozy upholstered couch that our little crew can snuggle on. For our next place I want to take my time creating a collected space in lieu of buying a suite of furniture at a big box store. I'm hoping since we have a house full of furniture that's relatively new, we can re-purpose or sell some of what we have along the way as well. Over all, I can't wait to begin!
