Sharing a little glimpse into our lives as of late at Casa de Ring! March was crazy busy, but full of blessings for us. One week into April I can already tell there are some great things ahead for sure!
Went on a date to Twisted Root for an amazing burger and the best ancho-chile ketchup, like... ever.
Derek and Emerson had a "manly" outing to Cabela's for fishing gear. I love watching Derek when he is teaching Emerson about guy stuff like sport, fishing and hunting. He loves having a little boy!
We celebrated Granna! My mom's birthday was early in the month and we also rejoiced in her 6th year cancer free. God is SO good!
I made a ridiculous breakfast of chicken and waffles for Derek when he stayed home sick for a day. So bad, but so so good. Major yum.
We lived on the playground this month. Emerson's favorite activity is the sand pit by far. He also enjoys yelling at other children that try to borrow his toys... we're still working on the whole "sharing" concept.
My Aunt and cousin came from Mississippi to visit for their spring break. It was so fun to have them, Emerson really loved on them both. Here he is at lunch with the ladies!
We hung out at home on Emerson's first St. Patrick's day. Taking it easy with our little Irishman after church.
We did some party planning!

And last but most importantly, we celebrated the little guy who made this the BEST year of our entire lives!
