Month four flew by us so quickly, I can't believe our baby is growing SO quickly. I know I say this every month but SERIOUSLY where does the time go??
My month four faves mainly centralized around eating! Boy does our boy LOVE to get his grub on! (From top left clockwise) Emerson tried his first food this month, Ella's Kitchen sweet potato, pumpkin, apple & blueberry puree and it remained his favorite for the month. I fell in love with any and all things monogrammed or smocked and put in orders for several sweet fall outfits that are sure to become keepsakes. We switched from using our Medela breast feeding bottles to Dr. Browns. They are supposed to help with gas (which we have had none thank goodness) and they hold more, which is the main reason for the big switcheroo. Our aden+anais sleep sack has been amazing for transitioning out of the swaddle. Baby E can have his hands free and remain snuggled and warm, best of both worlds. I would love a few more of these for sure! Baby Bee nourishing oil has been great for our post bath baby massages. I learned baby massage techniques from a video tutorial I found from a Doula on YouTube and it has been a great way to bond and wind down before bed time. For feeding Emerson his purees, we have been using these Boon utensils and I love that they are flexible so I can manipulate them into E's mouth. Feeding him purees has been challenging though, so I can't wait until he is able to participate in Baby Led Weaning (I'll post all about that soon!). We love all things aden+anais including these burpy bibs. They have a one snap closure and can be tossed over your shoulder or used as a bib. Love that! I hope that these reviews are helpful, I plan on doing them for the first year as a fun way to look back on what items truly worked for us. Hopefully it will make me a better shopper for baby #2 one day!
