Today my mother's sweet friend Vicki Looney hosted a baby shower at her home in my honor. It was such a generous gesture for her to open her lovely home to my family and my mother's longtime co-workers and friends.
The decorations were so much fun and so cute with little blue foot prints. Reminds me that were going to be hearing the pitter patter of little foot steps very soon!
There was plenty of yummy treats and sweets that everyone enjoyed, but the prettiest dessert wasn't edible...
It was this fabulous diaper cake! Vicki did such a great job on it, I still haven't had the heart to disassemble it to but the diapers away for Emerson's future use!
And yes, even the edible desserts were just as lovely!
I was showered with gifts for our baby boy from family and friends...
And got to spend time with those I love who came from far...
and near! Overall, I had a wonderful time and can't express enough gratitude to Ms. Looney and all of my mother's amazing friends for being a part of such a special time for us.
