Gone Bananas!

I know. I brag on my husband a lot. I'm aware. But honestly he is totally deserving! 

Last night he had a moment of baby culinary genius that I had to pass along... when your tot starts talking, they'll thank me I'm sure! Emerson LOVES himself some Yo Baby organic yogurt. Recently we have begun buying all of their different flavors in bulk because we were going through it so quickly (little man can put away a whole cup in one sitting within minutes and still demand more). Derek was feeding him the banana flavor and thought may be it would be more filling if he mixed in some Earth's Best organic oatmeal cereal, so we gave it a try. 

Now I taste everything we serve to our precious little and as I am sure you are aware, not all baby food is created equal (aka major YUCK). But I kid you not... this combination tastes EXACTLY like banana pudding, vanilla wafers, whipped cream and all!

Simply add a generous amount of Earth's Best oatmeal into the Yo Baby Banana flavored yogurt cup and stir until mixture is completely combined (your ideal texture would be that of a thick milkshake) and serve! It's that easy. We don't give Emerson any cookies or sweets, so this is the perfect "treat" for him. He literally did a happy dance in his high chair.
