Emerson's Turning One :: A Look Back On The Bump

This Friday Emerson will be one. I can't describe how fast I feel that this year has gone by. I remember during my pregnancy thinking "am I going to be pregnant forever!?" and wishing so badly to hurry up and meet our first child. Little did I know how much I would miss being pregnant... I still do! But at the time I wanted nothing more than to hold him, as I was nearing 1.5 weeks past due and beginning to get a bit uncomfortable to put it midly. Maternity portraits had completely slipped my mind, so I was happy that my mom insisted we get some shots to have as a special keepsake. I will always cherish these bump pictures captured by the most excited Grandmother to be ever, my mom!
