The Completed Nursery

Emerson's room is finally completely ready for his arrival any time now. Hopefully we'll be meeting him soon, as I have been feeling contractions for days now and am beginning to get slightly uncomfortable. I'm so eager to have this baby and now that all of our nursery projects are completed, may be things will hurry along. Welcome to Emerson Robert's nursery!

The pallet wall Derek and Grandpa Bob constructed. It's the coolest part of the room by far!

We hung a lantern to serve as a "night light".

Emerson's first pair of cowboy boots - hand knitted by Nana Daphne's coworker. They are SO precious!!

The glider I ordered online turned out great, the slip cover matches the bedding well and it's super comfy. I assume I will be falling asleep with the little one here often.

Next to the closet there is a laundry hamper and coat hook in keeping with the vintage cowboy theme.

And a peek into the closet reveals clothing hung in size order with storage in the center for toys, swaddle blankets, burp cloths, socks, shoes and much more. Above we have extra boxes of diapers, wipes and gifts we haven't opened just yet! Thank you for allowing us to share this special space with you, and we can't wait to put it to good use soon!
